Sometimes the problem is fungus, which will lead you to look for nail fungus cures. One common cure for nail fungus is the administration of oral medications prescribed by your doctor. Fungus is something that takes as long as a year to get rid of as that is how long it takes for nails to grow. One toe nail fungus cure that may not work are topical remedies because they cannot penetrate the nail to reach the fungus. While being treated with a cure for nail fungus, keep the feet dry as possible and wear cotton socks. No matter which toenail fungus cure your doctor or podiatrist feels is best for you, be prepared to wait for results. The good news is that the vast majority of fungal nails can be successfully treated.
